Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator
I joined BOC in 1999, and I manage operations and conduct new patient exams at our Nassau, Freeport, and Abaco offices. My favourite part of my job is engaging with patients. Over the years, I have created tons of relationships with patients that have been so rewarding. I enjoy interacting with patients and being a part of their amazing smile transformations. Working with Dr. Russell has been inspirational since the first day I came here. He allows and encourages me to develop myself not just in my position but in my personal life as well. He motivates me to be the best I can be.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my son. I am a youth leader at my church. I took a wellness challenge recently so I am working out at every opportunity I can. Other than that, I enjoy quiet evenings at home.
Financial Team Leader
I have been a part of the Bahamas Orthodontic Center since 2013 and I enjoy working with people who make you feel appreciated and acknowledged. Our company is a workplace that values and actively seeks your inputs and suggestions. As an employee, I’m respected and recognized for my achievements, which makes me feel like I really belong here.
I am happily married and very family oriented. I love being in the presence of positive and fun people who share the same passion and drive as I do.
I love working at the Bahamas Orthodontic Center because of the many patients I come in contact with. I am a people person and love helping people achieve great smiles. I also love the environment of BOC and the camaraderie that has developed between members of the staff. It’s great to be a part of something that makes a difference! I love that everyone cares and has flexibility to assist when needed. I also enjoy working here because of the kind heart of Dr. Russell and I am thankful for my position and the time I have worked here. BOC is an awesome place to work and we truly create smiles in a caring, professional, and loving environment.
My interests outside the office include baseball and softball.
BOC has been my home away from home for the past 20 years. Our day always starts with a morning huddle, a prayer, and a thought for the day. During my time here, I had the opportunity to work with an amazing team, and meet our wonderful patients every day. I love that we function as a team, and we are driven by getting the best results for our patients. The joy of my job comes from being a part of an organization that is focused on creating beautiful smiles.
I am a proud mother of a son and daughter, and a grandmother to my granddaughter. My free time is spent reading, jogging, cooking, and travelling. I also attend Ebenezer Methodist Church, where I’m a member of the usher board.
I enjoy working at the Bahamas Orthodontic Center because the environment’s friendly and safe. My coworkers are a pleasure to be around. I love that we start each day with prayer and words of encouragement. We also have many fun activities like celebrating staff and patient birthdays and acknowledging our patients with a Fun Day. I like seeing and greeting patients and ensuring they are comfortable. I take pride in serving them to the best of my ability!
As an orthodontic assistant, my experience has been a great one. One of my greatest pleasures is seeing how pleased patients are with the results they have achieved during and after their braces are removed. Also, the working environment helps to set the pace for patients and staff, because we always start the day with prayer.
Working here at the Bahamas Orthodontic Center feels like going to a party! First, let me say that every morning, we start the day with a prayer and uplifting words of encouragement. Second, the staff is friendly and loving, and the office environment is always clean and inviting. Since being employed at BOC we have constantly continued to exceed patients’ expectations. I also love the way we celebrate our patients one day a month when their braces are removed and they celebrate their new smile. At BOC, we work very hard but we also find time to celebrate and have fun as staff. Having the opportunity to work in such a loving and caring environment is rewarding.
I am a proud mother of two lovely sons, Casey and Bradley. My hobbies include travelling, reading, and meeting new people. In my free time, I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time with my grandchildren, Jaxon and Harper.
I joined BOC in 2012 as an assistant to the office supervisor/manager with the daily operations of our office and clinic. Our office is a wonderful place with great social and professional diversity. I’m open to learning from what life may allow me to experience, and understand that whether it is good or bad, all things end up for the best.
I love working here at BOC! I am detail oriented with strengths in event planning, vision execution, and creating a “wow” factor that takes any idea to the next level.
I love going on new adventures, meeting new people, travelling, and reading.
I’ve been a part of BOC since 2014, working in administration and collections. My job allows me to work with a variety of people every day, whether they are our patients or my wonderful teammates. I love learning and growing, both personally and professionally, and appreciate that my ideas are used for the enhancement of the company.
I’m a homebody for the most part, but I do enjoy getting together with friends over cocktails or watching a good movie. Travelling is my absolute favorite! I love experiencing new things and making lasting memories. My philosophy and goal in life is to have “fun, freedom, and fulfillment!”
I began my career in the dental field in 1989 and joined BOC in 1999. Throughout the years, I’ve gained certifications in infection control, first aid, Damon® braces, and general dentistry. I assist Dr. Russell during many of our patients’ procedures, which allows me to witness their transition from having shy smiles to confident, bold, wide smiles. I enjoy being a part of a team that works so well together to create a friendly, family-focused environment.
Administrative Scheduling Assistant
My responsibilities include providing excellent service over the phone, scheduling appointments to be as convenient as possible, and preparing our team’s morning huddle reports. My previous experience as an orthodontic assistant allows me to be a great help to our patients if they have questions about their treatment. I love being a part of the BOC team! We all have the same vision for the practice—giving professional, friendly customer service with a big smile!
My husband Rodney and I have three daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandsons named Tocori and Craven. I love to travel and even have my own travel portal website! In my free time, I’m involved with Pathway to Passion marriage group and attend Living Waters Ministries church. My other hobbies include bowling, karaoke, and reading.
I take pleasure in helping people and motivating them during their orthodontic treatment. I love engaging with and reaching out to the community, especially when it involves making a positive difference in children’s lives. I am involved in a few charity organizations as well.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, learning new things, reading, binge-watching Netflix, sewing, cooking, and coordinating events.
Clinical and Laboratory Assistant
I have been a member of the Bahamas Orthodontic Center for more than five years. During this time, I have grown to enjoy the camaraderie and light-hearted environment created by the staff. We support and work well with each other to ensure optimum patient comfort and care. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a patient complete his or her treatment and experience a boost in self-confidence. The smiles, appreciation, and satisfaction are a reminder of our mission here at BOC. I am so happy to share in this life-changing experience.
