I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day. Spending my time caring for people from all walks of life has helped me to realize that getting to know each person on an individual level is rewarding. I focus on building long-term relationships with my patients, and learning about their lives and interests while addressing their dental needs.

I love doing dentistry because I enjoy making people feel good about themselves. The difference it makes in boosting one’s self-esteem by improving the smile is immeasurable, and this confidence radiates from a mile off. The people I see every day are not just patients; I consider them family.

In 2007 I graduated from Florida Memorial University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in biology. I went on to obtain my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry with honors from the University of Technology, Jamaica in 2015. I became a part of the Bahamas Orthodontic Center team in 2017.

I truly value the relationships I have, both with my clients and all the team members here at the Bahamas Orthodontic Center. I have a thirst for learning, and I learn so much every day from each one of them. My passion in dentistry is in the field of orthodontics, and who better to be mentored and guided by in this field than by the first orthodontist in the Bahamas, Dr. Barry Russell. Dr. Russell prides himself and his team on continuous learning and self-improvement to give patients the best care possible.

When I am not in the office, making a difference in the dental field in the Bahamas, I enjoy travelling, reading, and playing the piano. Presently, I am the secretary of the Bahamas Dental Association, a member of Toastmasters International, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. In all of these organizations, I take part in many community service projects.
